Horses have taught me much over the years, and I'm delighted to have found a way to give something back. A kind and gentle touch has helped me through most difficult situations I've encountered with horses; it's what comes naturally when introducing myself to frightened newborns, with their innate mistrust given them as a survival tool. It's what has worked best when trying to load nervous horses onto trailers. It's what kept me safe when training high-strung Thoroughbreds and starting 2-year-olds under saddle. Through massage therapy, I'm able to take that kind and gentle touch a step further, and the results are phenomenal!

The first thing my clients notice after I've worked on their horses is improved performance, but I'm also seeing a transformation on another level. These horses are not only trusting humans in a deeper way, but actually enjoying their interactions with us. They WANT to be handled and groomed; they go forward under saddle with new confidence; they greet us with ears up and a soft nicker instead of resistance. Not only do the horses benefit from massage therapy, but their handlers and riders are safer because their horses are pain-free. Training progresses more quickly when the horses are able to shift their focus from that nagging back-ache or sore shoulder or stiff neck to the task at hand. Both horse and rider benefit from equine massage. It is a safe, gentle, non-invasive way to achieve long-lasting results.
